Global Village Answers

1.) What Marshall McLuhan meant when he said “global village”
was that many people around the world are involved in and used
in their everyday lives. People use cell phones and telephones to
communicate with family and friends all over the world, we email
each other with what’s going on with our lives, we see what’s going on
facebook and viewing other peoples pictures. We chat on MSN and reconnect
with people who we don’t see very often. We watch television on our plasmas,
and we watch movies on our ipods. Global village connects us together.

2.) The kind of images that I used to represent Global Village was the
world and a village of house making the title “Global village”. I used
the msn logo, yahoo, facebook, laptop, t.v, G.P.S, cell phones,
metro pass, ttc ticket, and a satellite.

3.) The tools I used in photoshop I used to create my collage was the
rectangular marquee tool, magnetic lasso tool, the magnifier, the
magic wand, and the horizontal text tool.

4.) I actually didn’t know what Global Village meant until after I
researched on google what it was. I actually find it very intresting
that we can talk to people around the world just by technology.
